The VIRGINIAN

This site is dedicated to guitars, mandolins, fiddles and the building of these instruments. All of the hand crafted instruments will be the work of luthier James Savage. The instruments shown on this site, which I have crafted, will have my registered trademark - "THE VIRGINIAN"

My shop is located in the beautiful Blue Ridge mountains of Virginia, just outside of GALAX. There will be photos of my shop inside and out as well - added to the photo gallery soon. I will be adding to and changing this site in the near future. You will be able to make comments or to contact me if you wish.

In my Photo Gallery, I wish to add pictures of the instruments while I create. The pictures will be showing the progress of the instrument from beginning to end.

UPDATE- I now have some photos of my work and will be adding more in a few days.

I have added A new feature to the photo gallery"THE LUTHIER'S SHOP WORK. It contains photos of instruments in the process of construction.There will be more added soon.
